DriveSentry 2.1 is an interesting alternative to protect to your computer a little more from the constant attacks of viruses and malicious spyware that attack your computer. That's because the DriveSentry program is monitoring and detecting if a program isn't allowed (the list of allowed programs that you create yourself) is attempting to write to your hard drive (and thus be suspected of being a spy program) allowing it only if you consent to do so.

It also informs you of possible changes in the Windows Registry and, more importantly, hardly consumes resources, so you are a little more protected against potential external threats that may come to crash your computer.
